AMERICA – PROJECTS FUNDING STRATEGIES/FINANCIAL MODELLING

As part of the development of a new desalination water treatment project in California, IWS developed a detailed financial model as a basis to evaluate the financial viability of the plant for project development and financing. The financial model was used as a basis for agreeing the terms of a 30-year term water purchase agreement with the off-takers of the water, for development of a project development agreement for investors and for project financing purposes.

In addition IWS has completed work on the application for a loan guarantee for the projects from the US Department of Energy.
