BRK Ambiental is one of Brazil’s private water and wastewater utility companies with operations throughout the country. For one of these operations in Limera, IWS was appointed to review existing proposals, and to update the strategic investment plans for water and wastewater systems overseeing the next 20 years. IWS carried out the site inspections, modelling of proposals, costing and report production for the client.

For the development of the strategic investment plans IWS considered current business targets, the preliminary design of the improvements to achieve the targets, the distribution of these actions through time considering the effects of population growth, and an estimation of the required investments to achieve such targets.
