BRAZIL – ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURING AND TRAINING PROGRAMME

AEGEA is the largest private water and wastewater utility companies in Brazil. IWS carried out an operational audit in two of their water operations as part of an assignment to develop a specific training programme for non-revenue water specialists, and to set up a new way of working for the businesses.

After reviewing the current status of their business and targets to be met, IWS used their extensive experience on best practices to develop an organisational structure and training programme for the utility’s NRW operators detailing methods for carrying out a water balance, as well as setting the new structure for delivering the current and future action plans.
